New work from Swellendam, South Africa! The fox is seen as a jakkals here, but I'm too sweet on them to make it anything else :)

Muizenberg Festival 2015
One week to go! Muizenburg Festival 2015!
Preparations are well on their way. In terms of my own work, I had Muizenberg Art Deco scanned and printed in a limited edition of 12 prints last week from Art Lab. I am thrilled with the quality and such a pleasure to work with Leanne. Fantastic resolution and excellent detail.
The Exhibition at the Blue Bird Garage in Muizenberg will go up on Thursday and I am really excited to be showing work along side the likes of Natasha Norman, Tony Pinchuck and Tracey Derrick to mention just a few of the very talented artists.
Feel like going yiiiiiii as everything comes together!
All digits crossed :)

Latest Commission on its way to Brighton from Cape Town
Just finished a terrific commission for an old friend in Brighton. Took toooooo long but has all come together beautifully! Here is a picture of a T-Rex, in a paper boat, wearing gold converse high tops, playing a drum and sailing to India from on top of his light post (don't worry, he has bread sticks and olives to snack on!)... OH! and I nearly forgot, he is singing karaoke, any guesses what the song is? You can take a look at some more of the details here

BIG FIVE Animal Hats!!!
I've been doing a series of people wearing animal hats and it is a collection that keeps on growing. I'm trying to expand and have them available on Etsy as well as in a couple of places in Cape Town, Imagenius in Long Street and the Kalk Bay Co-op. I've just finished a BIG FIVE series and you can see them HERE on my FB page. More soon!

49a Hova Villas, Hove, BN3 3DJ
It's the artists Open House weekends, that time in May when festivals collide and the plethora of creativity becomes so evident that it makes you dizzy. This year I am on The Hove Arts trail exhibiting some wares from INTO THE WILD in my house, while others are at the Brighton Media Center and another in Uber, a hairdresser off Palmeira Square. I'm here all day saturday, sunday and bank holidays so pop in for a hi, a chat and a cup of tea. Will be lovely to see you :)

Just two weeks left!
Just two wees to go for you to see the first UK solo exhibition by artist Andrew James Hofmeyr. Larger than life foxes, seagulls, badgers and squirrels, this is a portrait of Brighton like never seen before, featuring Hanover, Kemptown, Sevendials and Hove. A beautiful series of paintings on recycled scaffolding boards, bringing a little bit of colour to the world and a touch of magic for the inner child.
Don't miss this opportunity to see this magical body of work in a single venue!
